Ingredients
  

  • 2 ounces tequila
  • 1 ounce Aperol
  • 1 ounce coconut cream or full-fat coconut milk
  • 1 ounce fresh lime juice
  • ½ ounce orange liqueur
  • ½ ounce simple syrup or agave syrup
  • 1 cup ice cubes
  • 1 lime wedge for garnish
  • 1 tablespoon toasted coconut flakes for garnish
  • 1 orange slice for garnish

Method
 

  1. Chill the glass for a few minutes to keep the cocktail cold.
  2. Rub a lime wedge around the rim and dip into salt, sugar, or toasted coconut if desired.
  3. Add tequila, Aperol, coconut cream or coconut milk, fresh lime juice, orange liqueur, and simple syrup into a cocktail shaker.
  4. Add ice cubes to the shaker.
  5. Shake well for 15–20 seconds until the mixture becomes smooth and chilled.
  6. Strain the cocktail into the chilled glass or over fresh ice.
  7. Garnish with lime wedge, toasted coconut flakes, or orange slice.
  8. Serve immediately while cold.
