Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked or breaded chicken
  • 12 Hawaiian slider rolls
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • ½ cup sweet chili sauce
  • 2 tablespoons sriracha
  • 1 teaspoon honey
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce or cabbage
  • ½ cup sliced pickles
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon sesame seeds

Method

  1. In a medium bowl, mix mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, sriracha, and honey until smooth and creamy.
  2. Cook chicken tenders or ground chicken patties until fully cooked and crispy.
  3. Slice the Hawaiian rolls in half horizontally without separating them.
  4. Place cooked chicken evenly on the bottom half of the rolls, add lettuce and pickles, and drizzle with bang bang sauce.
  5. Place the top half of the rolls back on.
  6. Mix melted butter with garlic powder and brush over the rolls, then sprinkle sesame seeds.
  7. Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for 10–12 minutes.
  8. Remove, cool slightly, cut into individual sliders, and serve warm.

Notes

  • Use fresh Hawaiian rolls for best flavor and texture.
  • Toast bottom buns lightly to prevent sogginess.
  • Substitute fried chicken with grilled for a lighter option.
  • Coleslaw can replace lettuce for extra crunch.
  • Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 2 days and reheat in oven.
