Easy Fresh Pink Lemonade

Ingredients
  

  • 4-6 pieces fresh lemons
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup water (for syrup)
  • 3–4 cups cold water
  • 1/2 cup fresh strawberries or raspberries
  • 1–2 cups ice cubes
  • 1 piece lemon (sliced, optional)
  • 5–6 pieces mint leaves (optional)

Method
 

  1. Juice the lemons to obtain fresh lemon juice.
  2. In a saucepan, combine 1 cup sugar and 1 cup water; heat and stir until fully dissolved, then cool.
  3. Blend strawberries or raspberries into a puree and strain if desired.
  4. In a pitcher, combine lemon juice, simple syrup, berry puree, and cold water.
  5. Stir thoroughly, add ice, chill for at least 30 minutes, and serve with optional garnishes.

  • Adjust sugar depending on sweetness preference.
  • Use chilled water and ingredients for best taste.
  • Try sparkling water for a fizzy variation.
