Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound chicken breast, thinly sliced
  • 7 ounces rice noodles or egg noodles
  • 4 cloves garlic, finely minced
  • ¼ cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
  • 2 tablespoons honey or brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • ½ cup water or chicken broth
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 2 green onions, sliced
  • 1 teaspoon sesame seeds

Method
 

  1. Cook the noodles according to package instructions, drain well, and set aside.
  2. In a small bowl, mix soy sauce, oyster sauce, honey, rice vinegar, sesame oil, cornstarch, and water until smooth.
  3. Heat vegetable oil in a large pan over medium heat and cook the chicken until golden and fully cooked, then remove from the pan.
  4. In the same pan, sauté the garlic briefly until fragrant.
  5. Pour in the prepared sauce and simmer until it thickens and becomes glossy.
  6. Add the cooked chicken back to the pan and toss to coat.
  7. Add the noodles and gently toss until everything is evenly coated and heated through.
  8. Remove from heat and garnish with green onions and sesame seeds before serving.

  • Rice noodles give a lighter texture, while egg noodles make it heartier.
  • Add vegetables like bell peppers or broccoli for extra nutrition.
