Ingredients

  • 1 cup Greek yogurt
  • 1 ripe banana
  • ½ cup strawberries, hulled and sliced
  • ¼ cup milk or plant-based milk
  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup
  • ¼ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 tablespoons granola
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds or flaxseeds
  • Fresh fruits for topping (kiwi, blueberries, raspberries, or more strawberries)
  • Nuts for topping (almonds, walnuts, or cashews)
  • Coconut flakes for garnish

Method

  1. Wash all fresh fruits thoroughly. Hull strawberries and slice them into small pieces. Peel the banana and cut into chunks. Chop additional fruits for toppings if desired.
  2. In a blender, combine Greek yogurt, banana chunks, strawberries, milk, honey, and vanilla extract. Blend until smooth and creamy. Adjust thickness by adding more or less milk.
  3. Pour the smoothie mixture into a wide, shallow bowl for easy topping.
  4. Layer toppings: sprinkle granola, chia seeds or flaxseeds, arrange sliced fruits, nuts, and optionally drizzle honey or sprinkle coconut flakes.
  5. Serve immediately and enjoy the smoothie bowl fresh for best texture and flavor.

Notes

  • For a thicker smoothie bowl, use frozen banana slices.
  • Customize toppings with seasonal fruits, superfoods, or nuts.
  • Adjust sweetness naturally using ripe fruits or a small drizzle of honey/maple syrup.
  • Best served immediately to maintain texture.
