Ingredients

  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • teaspoons instant yeast
  • 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ¾ cup warm milk
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 egg
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 4 cloves garlic, finely minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
  • cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan chees

Method

  1. Combine warm milk, sugar, and yeast in a bowl and allow it to sit until foamy.
  2. Add melted butter, egg, salt, and flour, then knead into a smooth dough and let it rise until doubled in size.
  3. Mix melted butter, garlic, parsley, and salt to prepare the garlic butter.
  4. Roll out the dough into a rectangle and brush evenly with the garlic butter.
  5. Sprinkle mozzarella, cheddar, and Parmesan cheese evenly over the dough.
  6. Roll the dough tightly, slice into equal rolls, and arrange them in a greased baking dish.
  7. Let the rolls rise again, then bake until golden and fully cooked.
  8. Brush with remaining garlic butter after baking and serve warm.

Notes

  • Freshly shredded cheese melts better than pre-packaged cheese.
  • These rolls work well as a side dish, appetizer, or snack.
  • Extra garlic butter can be added for a richer flavor.
  • Best served warm for the softest texture and best cheese pull.
