Method
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a 9×9 baking pan with parchment paper.
- Mix melted butter and sugar until smooth. Add eggs and vanilla and whisk well.
- Add flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt. Mix until just combined.
- Fold in chocolate chips and spread batter evenly into the pan.
- Bake for 28–35 minutes until edges are set and the center is slightly soft.
- Cool completely, then slice into squares and serve
Notes
- Do not overbake if you want soft, fudgy brookies.
- Let them cool fully before slicing for clean squares.
- Store in an airtight container for 3–4 days.
